NYSKC Movement, Forum & Seminar

Updated: 1 day ago

The NYSKC Movement (often stylized as NYSKC or referred to as the NYSKC World Mission) is a global Christian initiative focused on restoring authentic worship in churches, families, and individual lives. It promotes the “Theology of Restoration,” drawing primarily from Amos 9:11–15 in the Bible, which speaks of rebuilding the fallen tabernacle of David as a symbol of spiritual revival.

The movement’s core belief is that restoring worship leads to the revival of the church, renewal of nations, and restoration of families.

Acronym Breakdown

The acronym NYSKC represents five core spiritual disciplines, known as the NYSKC Creed:

  • N — New Life: Early morning prayer as the breath of the soul

  • Y — Yielding for Manna: Daily Bible reading as spiritual nourishment

  • S — Salvation for One by One: Personal evangelism as the fruit of faith

  • K — Keeping for LORD’s Day: Honoring the Sabbath as spiritual communion

  • C — Complete Offering: Full tithe as an act of devotion and blessing

Key Activities

The movement emphasizes practical methods for revival, including:

  • Annual family conferences (involving adults, youth, and children) held at world, national, and regional levels

  • Academic and pastoral gatherings through its “Learned Society” for studying restoration theology (e.g., symposia, forums, and seminars)

It has roots dating back to around 1996 and operates globally, with strong ties to Korean Christian communities. Events are held in the US (e.g., New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio) and Korea, often featuring passionate worship, praise teams, and family-oriented gatherings.
